One of the highest paid supermodels in the world has been away from spotlight for over a YEAR. Unlike her co-horts like Gisele Bundchen or Alessandra Ambrosio or Karolina Kurkova, Lima is the only model of the bunch to take MORE time off after giving birth.
For weeks, it had been rumored that Lima would appear on the catwalks of the Givenchy show for Paris Fashion Week and while she did show up, she did not walk the runway. So she pretty much dispelled that rumor.
And now TONS more rumors are abounding about Lima’s next moves. A few “sources” (I say that in questionable quotes) have claimed that she will appear on the runway for other fashion designers this week and others have claimed that she will be “back to work soon”, but all of it is just a bunch of he said/she said bullshit at this point. Gossip about Lima has been rampant and, so far, nothing I’ve heard sounds reputable.
If I were you, I wouldn’t trust ANY of the fashionista gossip until Lima actually makes the move herself. And until that happens, I’m just gonna assume that Lima refuses to lose the baby weight and is just too goddamned lazy to burn it off, hence the reason she hasn’t gone back to work.
