CHICKAMAUGA, Ga. (WRCB) - A family in North Georgia is about to become part of movie history. Carol Cross says her husband and his brother own the home where scenes of the movie Water for Elephants will be shot later on this week.
The Cross family says they were approached about the film in the spring. Since that time numerous film crews have traveled back and forth to Chickamauga, Georgia to scout and prepare the site.
The family says crews spent months and miles on the interstate trying to find the perfect location to shoot the scenes dating back to the 1930's.
Channel 3 Eyewitness News has learned actor Robert Pattinson, famous for the Twilight movie series, will be coming to Chickamauga later this week to film scenes.
Much of the equipment used to shoot the movie is being held at the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel.
We have also learned the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum will also be a part of the movie history.
Watch Channel 3 Eyewitness News at 6:00 on Wednesday for more details.

Brittany Murphy’s mother is shooting down reports from TMZ alleging that her daughter and son-in-law’s mysterious deaths were the result of a mold infestation in their home. According to the reports, California’s Department of Public Health had allegedly decided to launch an investigation to see if toxic spores in their Hollywood Hills mansion had anything to do with the couple’s deaths, which were less than 6 months apart. Brittany passed away in December 2009 and her husband Simon Monjack died 5 months later in May 2010, both due to pneumonia and anaemia.
However Brittany’s mom Sharon Murphy, who lived in the home with the couple, says that there’s no mold in the home and she’s been nothing but cooperative with authorities handling the investigation, contrary to reports of her doing the opposite. She says:
“I have never been personally asked by the Coroner or anyone from the Health Department to come and inspect my home for mold. In the last eight months, I have been through the most unimaginable events, which no one could ever fathom. I have and will continue to be very cooperative and fully comply with any such request. It’s absurd that this kind of misinformation is being reported by the media.”
One of the lawyers from Brittany Murphy’s, Michael Schiff, backed Sharon up saying:
“To the best of my knowledge there has been no evidence of mold at the Murphy residence. The coroner confirmed with me today that black mold was not the cause of Simon Monjack’s death. Coroner Ed Winter told me the case is closed and the cause of death was pneumonia.”
Case closed? No one finds it strange that a husband and wife died of the same disease within 5 months of each other? And if “mold” killed them, how is Sharon STILL living there and healthy as a horse? So many questions, not enough answers. They need to dig deeper… for real!

Ladies! Don’t pile on pounds of makeup. What are you, a Kardashian? Get Kristen Stewart’s red-carpet look in 4 steps!
What I am saying is that more and more layers of product don’t necessarily make the wearer look prettier by the coat. In fact, it often makes one look significantly older and, shall we say, streetwise. If you’re not catching my drift then I’ll put it point blank: Dayshift hooker is not a cute look.
Our Lady of Twilight, K-Stew, pulled out full glam with minimal makeup, at the Oscars no less.
Professional makeup guru and Avon Global Creative Color Director, Jillian Dempsey, told People how to expertly apply the look in 4 steps.
1: Create a flawless base with foundation (Jillian used Armani Silk Luminous Foundation) and accent with blush. (Kristen wore Shu Uemura Blush in Peach 45).
2: Pump up eyes with a crisp yet deep-set color. (Jillian used Avon True Color Eyeshadow in Midnight Plum on lids followed by her own brand, Jillian Dempsey for Avon, Kohl Eyeliner in Black).
3: Make the lashes pop. (Jillian uses DiorShow Mascara in Blackout).
4: Fill in lips with light, pale color. (Jillian applied her Avon brand in peachy Twice as Nice to Kristen’s lips).
Jillian sought to create an "edgy glam, with a clean, youthful feeling"
This week throwback is dedicated to the boy band lovers out there. Who can resist those dimples.... ...
