Clowning around: Jessica Simpson chases a runaway balloon in the Macy's Backstage commercial
Jessica Simpson is back doing what she does best... combining fashion with faux pas.
The 30-year-old singer-turned actress-turned fashion designer is working overtime these days as she launches her new denim label this autumn and participates in the Macy's 'Backstage' commercial as part of the store's 'Find Your Magic' campaign.
Jessica is pictured clowning around in the promotional shot from the commercial and looking remarkably slim in a tight-fitting pencil skirt and a sleeveless shimmery top.
Either she's been working out or the airbrushing department has been working overtime. Jessica has been pictured out and about lately looking at least half a dozen dress sizes larger.
The Macy's commercial debuts on September 12 on American television and features an 'employees only' door.
Sisters: Jessica looking a lot more curvy than in the Macy's commercial. She's enlisting sister Ashlee (left) to walk the runway at NY Fashion Week to show off her new denim designs
Opening the door reveals a backstage stable of celebrity designers including Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Tommy Hilfiger, Jenifer Lopez, Rachel Roy, Martha Stewart, Donald Trump and of course, Jessica.
And apparently it's Jessica who creates mayhem. While the other designers ready their products for the Macy's selling floor, Jessica is busy chasing after a runaway balloon. Where the balloon leads her will be revealed in the commercial.
Jessica's not just relying on the Macy's campaign though to promote the relaunch of her denim line. She also plans to host an informal party/presentation of her clothes a few days before Fashion Week in New York.
Jessica says she plans to use 'real people' and not models to show off the line at New York's Fashion Week and has enlisted the help of eight of her 'best friends' including her sister Ashlee and friend CaCee Cob to wear her garments.
Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the vainest of them all? Demi Moore's latest demure pose
Demi Moore has never been a shy girl. Ever since the popular Twitter phenomenon began, she and her husband, fellow actor Ashton Kutcher, have used the internet site to share often excruciatingly intimate details of their home life.
The Charlie's Angels actress, who has three daughters Rumer, 21, Scout, 18, and Tallulah, 16, from her marriage to Bruce Willis, operates under the name Mrs Kutcher, and talks about everything from her dieting to mammograms.
But this week Demi, 47, took her self-obsession to a new level, posting pictures of herself posing in a bikini in front of the bathroom mirror.
Is there anything this woman won't do for publicity?
Apparently not, if we have a look at some of her more cringeworthy online postings...
Left: Demi with Miley Cyrus this week on the set of movie LOL, Right: Having your name on your pyjamas when you are seven is cute - at the age of 47 it's just daft
Left: Hands up everyone who thinks I'm marvellous! Right: Getting all maternal visiting the Haiti earthquake victims
Coffee and nicotine gum - those crazy, crazy breakfasts, eh Demi!
Left: 'I'm mad as a hatter, I am!' Demi dons the hilarious glasses while the rest of us remain stony-faced, Right: Planet of the japes - stick to the day job, Demi!
Left: In the smallest lift in the world, she's going down in our estimation, Right: Hubby Ashton misunderstood her call for more role-play in the boudoir
Five o'clock shadow, unwaxed chest - and Mr Kutcher looks pretty rough first thing, too
Left: Isn't it every dog's dream to be an itsy-bitsy handbag essential? Not from his expression! Right: Remaking Toy Story as a home movie
With Rumer, one of her three daughters by former hubby Bruce Willis
Left: Showing off another string to her mult-talented bow, Right: On second thoughts, maybe Demi should have stuck with the monkey mask after all
All say: 'Agghhhh!' Twitter fans get to see Demi at the dentist AND her veruccas. Will the excitement never end?
Left: The 'endless fun' promised by that fairground mirror was wearing thin, Right: And let's hope that together, Demi and Ashton change their taste in T-shirts
Indecent proposal? Not in that shirt, ta very much
With a late night snack attack, it's goodnight from her, and good riddance from us

It is an attractive destination for lovers of the great outdoors, featuring over 350 km of hiking routes along scenic Alpine paths and fascinating adventure trails. Whether you want to climb up high or enjoy the cool shade of a forest, hiking here is always varied and exciting – just like the first Saas Hiking Day will be! The first Saas Hiking Day presents three different routes that are sure to please everyone. The relaxing route (Route 1) is perfect for those new to hiking or for those who simply want to take it easy. This gentle uphill climb takes you through stunning larch forests and along ancient waterways (Suonen) and beautiful streams. The route lasts between 90 minutes and two hours. If you are looking for a particularly idyllic hike, you will take the romantic route (Route 2). This hike begins with an uphill climb, taking you through a beautiful larch forest, along a rushing river and on up to the Furggalp. From there you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view of the Mischabel massif aboveSaas-Almagell as you carry on to Furggstalden and then back down to the village. The tour lasts two-and-a-half to three hours. And last but not least, for those hikers who like more of challenge there’s the adventure route (Route 3). Starting with a gondola ride from Saas-Grund up to Kreuzboden, the route continues along the Almagell Alpine Path. Far above the treetops, the route takes you along narrow paths with stunning views over the entire Saas Valley, all the way to the Mattmark reservoir, and of the eighteen 4,000 metre peaks that surround it. Further on into to the Almagell Valley, the cosy Almagelleralp restaurant, which is celebrating its centenary this year, offers the ideal spot for a break. After regaining your strength, it's time to leave the valley and continue onto the next highlight of the hike. Before making your way back down to Saas-Almagell, you can look forward to the challenge of the Almagell Adventure Trail. Its two suspension bridges, which are each over 60 m long, are guaranteed to provide that extra adrenaline rush. The route takes between three-and-a-half and four hours. The fee for each hike gets you a great selection of goodies, including welcome coffee and croissants, a panoramic map, cableway tickets (Routes 2 and 3), raclette and wine at the end of the walk, and a souvenir gift. Those taking Route 3 will also receive a voucher for a cup of the Almagelleralp’s delicious house coffee. The organisers are delighted that professional Alpine skier and honorary member of Skiclub Saas-Almagell Silvan Zurbriggen will be joining as a hiking guide for the day. He will also attend the festival on the village square afterwards, where he will be chatting to fans and answering their questions. When you finish your hike you will all have the pleasure of meeting back on the village square in Saas-Almagell where you can enjoy a delicious raclette and a good glass of wine. After an active start to the day and a stunning hike through the Saas Valley’s impressive Alpine landscape, you can relax and enjoy a great entertainment programme that includes musical entertainment, performances by village associations, market stalls, Alpine wellness, refreshments and, finally, the inauguration of Saas-Almagell’s recently redesigned village square. When Howard Cohen of The Miami Herald called Little Big Town’s new album The Reason Why, “country’s album of the year for 2010,” he sensed a landmark release in the making. According to Soundscan’s album sales chart, there’s no doubt his inkling was right. The band is celebrating their fourth studio album’s, The Reason Why, debut this week at #1 on the Billboard Albums Chart and #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart across all genres with 41,940 albums sold– making The Reason Why the highest debuting album of the country band’s career.
In addition, the band is celebrating a 2010 CMA Awards nomination in the Vocal Group of the Year category–marking Little Big Town’s eighth nomination and fifth in that category from the prestigious organization.
“This will be a week we never forget,” says Karen Fairchild, “and we owe that to the incredible fans, country radio, and our new label Capitol Records.”
“We are so blessed to have our album debut at the top of the charts, and to have news of this nomination in the same week is just amazing,” adds Kimberly Schlapman.
Praise continues to follow Little Big Town. “The Reason Why feels like an album of growth for the band; lyrically, musically, and perhaps emotionally,” said All Voices’ Rustyn Rose. “This is arguably the band’s best and most infectious album to date—both a progression and extension of their previous works. On the whole, this record seems most representative of who Little Big Town is.”
The group, which consists of Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman and Jimi Westbrook, co-produced the The Reason Why alongside Wayne Kirkpatrick and co-wrote eight of the 12 tracks.
The band launched their new album in Chicago with a sold-out album release party at Joe’s Bar and then in New York City with performances on ABC’s Good Morning America and FOX News Channel’s Fox and Friends “All American Concert Series,” with additional appearances throughout the week.
With no intention to slow down, the band will continue to make appearances in support of the new album with a performance at the New York State Fair on Sept. 2 before rejoining Sugarland on The Incredible Machine Tour on Sept. 3 at State College, PA’s Bryce Jordan Center.
“I’ve seen how artists make sure they look and act different when the cameras are around. But The Entourage DVD is all about my friends being themselves—these people just happen to be huge rap stars.” Scoob says about his recent DVD release.
“I think a lot of people may think Wayne is not a strategic person and that he’s just drunk and high all day. That’s not true at all—he’s working harder than everyone around him.” Scoob tells VIBE regarding Lil Wayne’s work ethic. “Weezy will only sit down for 20 minutes out of 15-hour studio session. He just doesn’t stop.”
“I got videos for the Carter IV and the I’m not a Human Being EP all ready. I can’t say the name of the song but Wayne was singing on the hook, but they’re getting Drake to re-do it and it’s off the Human Being EP,” Scoob says. “Carter IV is probably the best album I’ve heard in the last decade, but Wayne is such a different artist now that wants to record new music when he comes home. The stuff he’s talking about now is just on another level. That’s why a lot of the songs on the EP were originally taken from the Carter IV.” – VIBE

John Isner was born April 26, 1985 in Greensboro, North Carolina. His parents are Karen and Bob Isner, and he has two older brothers, Jordan and Nathan.
John began playing tennis at age nine at the Carolina Tennis Academy. After graduating from the Walter Hines Page Senior High School, he attended the University of Georgia. John played tennis for four years at UGA, earned All-American honors each season from 2004-2007, and is the school’s all-time leader in singles and doubles wins. In May 2007, after leading his beloved school to an NCAA team title, he reached the singles final and captured the doubles title in front of his home crowd in Athens. During his junior year in college, John began considering a career as a professional tennis player, knowing that his skills had developed enough to compete on the highest level. John began playing professional events in 2007. After competing in only a few tournaments, the towering American’s breakthrough came later that summer, when he reached the finals of the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington, DC. While en route to his first ATP final, he posted a record five straight wins in a third set tiebreak. Thanks to his incredible week in Washington, his ranking rose to #193 in the world after just six weeks as a pro.
Since his professional career began in 2007, John has been recognized as one of the future stars of American tennis. John has caught the attention from many due to being the only player in the top 150 to attend college for 4 years, having one of the hardest serves, being the second tallest player on tour (6’9”), and his fast rise to a ATP top 20 ranking. Additionally, John holds the record for the longest match ever played in tennis history. His heroic battle at Wimbledon against Frenchman Nicolas Mahut lasted for 11 hours and 5 minutes, and ended with John’s 70-68 victory in the fifth set.
John is currently coached by former ATP pro Craig Boynton (since March 2009) and resides in Tampa, Florida. source : John Inser official website

When Australian Sally Peers was 10 years old, she successfully secured an autographed photo from a fast-rising tennis player named Kim Clijsters. When she returns home to Melbourne, she may want to hide that photo someplace out of sight, so Wednesday's second-round match between the two will stay out of mind.
Kim Clijsters, a two-time US Open champion, made Peers' debut on Arthur Ashe Stadium a forgettable one by speeding to a 6-2, 6-1 win in 56 minutes. The now 19-year-old qualifier held just once in seven service games.
Peers can take solace in the fact that for five games, she and the No. 2 seed were on even terms. That's because Clijsters let leads of 2-0 and 3-1 slip away, breaking Peers only to be broken immediately thereafter.
But after belting a down-the-line backhand winner to break Peers in the sixth game, Clijsters never looked back.
In a third-round match Friday, Clijsters will play No. 27 seed Petra Kvitova, who defeated former world No. 1 Dinara Safina at last year's US Open.
"Hopefully when the opponents get tougher, I'll play better," said Clijsters.
